Daredevil Season 2: Elodie Yung Cast as Elektra

    Since the mention of Matt Murdock's "hot Greek chick" former girlfriend in season 1 of the Netflix and Marvel show Daredevil, long-time fans have wondered who might be getting the role.  Today it was announced Elodie Yung will be playing the part of Elektra Nachios.  She is most known for her role in the less-than-great G.I. Joe: Retaliation in the role of Jinx.

     “After a worldwide search,  we found in Elodie the perfect actress to embody both Elektra’s impressive and deadly physicality, as well as her psychological complexity.  Paired with Charlie as Matt Murdock, the two will bring one of the most beloved and tumultuous comic book relationships to life with all the accompanying sparks and spectacular action sequences the show is known for.”

     Elodie will be joining Jon Bernthal as Frank "The Punisher" Castle, and returning cast members Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, and Rosario Dawson as Claire Temple.

     Hell's Kitchen, New York City is beginning to fill up with some dangerous people.

     Daredevil Season 2 is slated to arrive on Netflix in 2016.
